  Otro bar de menú en el que no merece la pena ni comer el menú... bien situado... bien puesto... bonito por fuera.... pero la comida deja mucho que desear....

  We enjoyed the food that was fresh and tasty but the service was not paying attention. 3 dishes weren't available and the service was not informed. On this street the best food.

  I avoided this place for two years (!) because of the terrible reviews, but then finally I gave it a try for lunch and really liked it. I ended up eating the €13 “menú del día” lunch eight times here in the summer of 2016, and I found it the best choice of the three restaurants offering “menú del día” lunches in the immediate beach area business district. The portions are large, and frequently presented in an attractive manner. Among the first courses, I liked their salpicón (cold seafood salad marinated in a vinegrette), the ensalada de ventresca (salad w. tuna filets), patatas guisadas con costillas (stewed potatoes with [a tiny number of] ribs) - their ensaladilla rusa is excellent. Among the second course offerings - the stewed kid (cabrito guisado) was the most artistically presented, and the solomillo con salsa de setas (filet in mushroom sauce) was my favorite comfort food. Avoid the typical tourist choices of seafood paella (too gummy for North American tastes), the fabada (larger servings are served elsewhere) and cachopo (just not good - undercooked?). The dairy desserts (there are usually three on offer) are homemade - the elaborate cakes are store bought. Most (all?) of the negative reviews here on Google are because of the personal treatment received from the male owner. Personally, I suspect he just suffers from PBF syndrome, so just be nice and don’t let it bother you. I can’t say for certain though, because during high season, eating lunch inside in the dining room, I was always served by the female wait staff who were universally friendly. There is plenty of space in the dining room on the left side past the bar for baby strollers (there are two wide steps) - because of space constraints on the sidewalks and other restaurants, this is the best place to eat if you have a baby in the family, and large windows overlook the main entrance to the beach boardwalk, so you won’t miss any of the action by not eating al fresco. Protip: The menú del día selections that you read on the sidewalk board, are repeated on a second white board somewhere in the dining room - look around for it.

  Normalillo. Nos tocó una chica bastante espabilada y maja para lo q suele ser la atención de la zona... Bacalao con gulas estaba chachi. El resto q pedimos del menú normal. Quizás calidad precio un poco caro para lo q es. De volver probaría otra cosa. No pidáis el vino del menú... ;)

  Fuimos a cenar y la comida malisima, tanto las croquetas como el pisto requemado. Lo único bueno el helado, y porque era de Frigo. Pedimos la cuenta y el encargado de mala gana dijo que la hicieran. Tardaron en cobrar y tuvimos que llevarle el dinero a la barra. Ni vuelvo ni lo recomiendo.
